We are staying at Port Orleans and I saw on another website that there is transportation between Port Orleans and Fort Wildness. Is this true?

Hi Tara! Great choice with Port Orleans resort. It's a family favourite! You can definitely get to Fort Wilderness Campground from there, but there isn't a direct bus route. As long as the Magic Kingdom is open, your best bet is to hop on a bus to the park and then transfer to a boat which will take you to the campground. You can also take the lovely, relaxing boatride from your resort down the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs. From here, take a bus to Fort Wilderness. I'd allow an hour with either route.

Write us back with any other questions Tara! Wishing you a magical vacation!
