    We're staying in Port Orleans Riverside in the Royal rooms and I was wondering how to request a certain room like a corner room

    Welcome Mica,

    Thanks for bringing your question to the Moms Panel.  You've selected an excellent resort for your Walt Disney World vacation.  The accommodations at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside will make you feel like a queen.  If you are traveling with your king and prince and princess, you will all enjoy the royal treatment at this picturesque hotel.  Room requests can be made when you do online check in.  Please note, however, that room requests are not guaranteed.  Disney does try their best to accommodate guest wishes, though.  When you arrive at the resort, you can also inquire about a specific location with the Cast Member at the front desk.  You never know what pixie dust may be flowing around you on check in day.
