I am staying at the Port orleans riverside resort, I will be taking my grandson to magic kingdom on the bus, he is one years old, can he ride the bus and is it safe?

Hi Nathan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your fun adventure with your grandson is almost here! You will both love exploring Magic Kingdom Park. It is my top choice for a theme park with a little one, because there is a LOT for all ages to enjoy there. I know it will be a special day for you both!

Walt Disney World complimentary transportation is one of the best benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel. I have ridden many, many miles on their bus transportation. Your 1-year-old grandson can absolutely ride on the bus! Disney takes safety very seriously and I trust the Cast Members to get us to our destination safely every time. My son has been riding along on the Walt Disney World buses since he was only 6-months-old! You will find kids of all ages on the buses around "The Most Magical Place on Earth," which will hopefully help put your mind at ease when it comes to making your way around your vacation.

Enjoy your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Nathan! It is a beautiful resort! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
