    We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside from Nov 5th to Nov 11th. Will we be able to view the Cajun holiday decorations?

    Hi Tomoe,

    Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite moderate resort at the Walt Disney World Resorts. I love staying in the mansions as it is beautiful and convenient to the bus and the main building.

    I am not sure when the decorations will go up at this resort. You can ask the cast members if they know the date as everything will be decorated prior to Thanksgiving. The Magic Kingdom does get decorated until the night before Thanksgiving.

    One clue the decorations are coming-big tractor trailers parked in front of the resort. This is the only time you will see this as speed and not stealth is needed for this fun event.
