Ahoy, Julie!
In just a few weeks, your Disney dreams will become a reality when you arrive at the
Walt Disney World Resort to kick off your magical vacation! I hope the days fly by so it will be your crew's turn to enjoy all there is to experience with Disney on the high seas!
Port Orleans Resort Riverside is one of my favorite moderate resorts, so I know you'll have a fabulous stay there the night before your cruise departure. If you have time, be sure to go for a relaxing swim at the Ol' Man Island pool!
Motor coach schedules can vary based on where Guests have chosen to stay prior to their Disney Cruise, so you won't find out your exact pick-up time until you check-in or later that day. If you don't find out at check-in, a letter with specific directions will be delivered to your resort room. I can tell you that your luggage will be collected from your resort room around 8:00 a.m., and you do not need to be in the room for it to be picked up. Just make sure your luggage is tagged and you keep your cruise documents, passports (or birth certificates), medicines, swimsuits and sunscreen (if you plan on swimming the first afternoon) with you. The next time you'll see your luggage will be outside your stateroom door later that afternoon. Guest pick-up is typically scheduled for late morning or early afternoon. Securing
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation will ensure a smooth and seamless land to sea transition! The motor coach is quite comfortable and equipped with a bathroom and Disney entertainment! You'll be pulling up to the Disney Cruise Line terminal before you know it!
Thank you for stopping by with your cruise question, Julie!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
