Hello. We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. It looks like the quick service restaurant doesn’t open until 7 a.m. Do they have coffee and pastries available to purchase before 7 a.m.? We hope to catch the 1st bus in the morning.

Hi Marilyn! Welcome to planDisney from another Massachusetts resident!

I see you've decided to make your Walt Disney World Resort stay even more magical by being a Guest of one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of my very favorites because we stayed here for so many family vacations when I was younger! This Resort really transports you to the old south, with rustic cottages in the Alligator Bayou section and gorgeous mansions in Magnolia Bend.  I'm sure you and your family will delight in staying right in the middle of the magic for your entire vacation.

You're correct that at the moment the quick-service dining location at Port Orleans - Riverside, the Riverside Mill Food Court, is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.  While these hours are certainly subject to change before your upcoming stay, if you're hoping to catch the very first Disney Bus to the Theme Parks in the morning you'll probably be looking for some grab-and-go grub even before the doors open at 7 a.m.

I do have a few suggestions for filling those tummies before having the best. day. ever. though! First, you and your party are welcome to put in an order with a grocery delivery service so that you can break that fast before you even leave your room.  You're welcome to place this order even before your arrival at the Resort and pick it up during the check-in process.  If you've chosen to complete online check-in and you're planning to head straight to your Guest room, Bell Services will be happy to deliver your goods for a small fee.

Another option would be to hop on that early morning bus and arrive at the Parks for "rope drop".  Since your Guest room includes a Cuisinart single-serve coffee maker, you can leave your room with a coffee in hand and grab a pastry once you arrive at the Parks.  At Magic Kingdom, head to the Main Street Bakery where you'll find breakfast sandwiches, Mickey Cinnamon Rolls and Starbucks coffee.  You're also welcome to stop by The Trolley Car Café on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Isle of Java at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Connections Café at EPCOT to grab some tasty morning treats!

    Have a wonderful stay!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
