    We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside, Garden View room. Looking at a map there are many buildings listed here. Is it possible to find out or request which part you stay in? We have a 6&7 year old plus spry seniors adjoining rooms requested already.

    Hi Trish!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside Resort is one of my favorite Resort Hotels.  The beautiful grounds make for a very relaxing stroll to your room.  One of my favorite amenities of this resort is the complimentary water transportation to Disney Springs.  Also check to see if Yehaa Bob Jackson will be performing at the River Roost Lounge during your stay.  This fun high-energy show is suitable for the whole family.

    There are two distinct sections to this resort: the antebellum mansion-style buildings of Magnolia Bend and the more rustic style of Alligator Bayou.  I have stayed in both areas and they are both lovely.  You are welcome to request the area you prefer, but please be aware this type of request cannot be guaranteed.  If you have reserved a "5th sleeper" room, all of these rooms are in the Alligator Bayou section.  You can note your request when you complete the online check-in process, or call 407-939-1936 to add your request to your reservation.  As far as requesting a specific building, some buildings house Royal Rooms or preferred rooms, and would not be able to be requested if you have not reserved that room type.
