We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. My daughters would like to bring their inflatable swim rings to use in the pools. Is this allowed?

    Greetings, Courtney!

Lassiez le bon temps rouler! I love Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside! Its proximity to Disney Springs is so convenient, especially when you want a park-free day to shop or have dinner plans! I also love that it is next door to its sister resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter, home to Mickey Beignets! When you check in, take a photo of the resort's Recreation Activities Guide, which will be in the lobby, to keep track of all the activities you can enjoy during your visit! Some fun ones include the Mosaic Class, Backyard Bash, and Mickey Tie-Dye! Other classics include Campfire on de'Bayou and Movies Under the Stars

Let's talk about all the fun to be had on Ol'Man Island! I spoke to a Cast Member about bringing your swim rings, and they said that flotation devices not secured to the swimmer (water wings/swim rings) are allowed as long as a supervising adult remains within arm’s reach of the person using the device and are sized for individual use. According to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules page, "Non-Coast Guard approved flotation devices or swim noodles at any water park," so keep that in mind if you also have plans to visit one of the Disney Water Parks during your visit.

Courtney, thank you for visiting planDisney! I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World and visit us again if you need additional pixie dust to add to your plans!
