We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside in August. I was wondering about the facilities around the swimming pools. Are there changing rooms, lockers, showers, toiletries etc. Thanks

    Hi Clare!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of my favorite places to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!  Not only are there some amazing dining options, but there are also fun things to do at the resort like roasting marshmallows over a campfire, watching movies under the stars, and fishing at a fishin' hole.  You can even take a horse-drawn carriage ride and feel like you have been transported to the bayou of the past!

Of course, like any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, there are phenomenal pools throughout the resort.  The main pool, on Ol' Man Island, has restrooms available for guests to use.  These restrooms include changing areas and showers, although you will need to bring your own toiletries to use in the showers.  Unfortunately, there are not any lockers for you to use at the resort pools.

The other five leisure pools do not have restrooms, but because they are located closer to the guest rooms, you will be able to easily return to your room when you are done with your relaxing swim!  Towels are provided at all of the resort pools.  Just keep swimming, and don't forget the sunscreen!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
