Ahoy Sharon!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you are making the most of your holiday this summer! A land and sea vacation is my most favorite way to escape and make memories with my family. It always makes leaving the most magical place on earth a little easier when you know you are still on holiday and setting out on a high seas adventure with Captain Mickey!
Disney Cruise Line transportation from Walt Disney World Resort hotels to Port Canaveral should be scheduled prior to your travel. You can
contact Disney Cruise Line to add transportation to your reservation, and you would then pay for this service with your total cruise fare prior to your paid in full date. You will receive your $200 Disney Gift Card when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, so this would be after you have paid for your transfer to Port Canaveral with your cruise fare.
It is possible to apply and pay for charges to your stateroom during your Disney Cruise with a gift card. This may be a good opportunity for you to put that gift card to work! While onboard, you can visit Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) to apply the gift card balance to your stateroom account. Any charges you make onboard (adult beverages, purchases in the onboard shops or my favorite - BINGO!) would then first be covered by that gift card balance. If you did not prepay your
gratuities, your gift card could also be used to cover those charges as well. Of course, you can always use the gift card for purchases during your Walt Disney World Resort stay prior to your cruise as well!
Have fun making magical memories! Bon voyage! Angie
