Hey there, Patricia! It sounds like you are already in the middle of the magic. Hot dog! I love
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
I also love your plans to head from the bayou to the frontier. Unfortunately,
horseback riding at the cabins and campsites at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is currently unavailable due to construction. There are still so many recreation options, like archery and fishing. I'm headed to
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge in a few weeks and cannot wait to run the trails and enjoy
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. This area of Walt Disney World Resort offers so much!
Now, let's talk about another favorite topic: dining. At
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you can find
Whispering Canyon Cafe and
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, if you dare. (The Evil Queen has been known to offer apples to the chef.) It is an amazing dining experience! At Fort Wilderness, you can have some knee-slappin' fun and barbeque at the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
Parking is usually available for Guests enjoying the resort's restaurants and amenities. If you have a confirmed reservation, show the guard at security, and they will direct you to parking. If you are stopping by to shop or enjoy one of the quick-service restaurants, you may or may not be allowed to park. It can depend on factors like parking lot capacity.
The beignets at
Scat Cat's Club - Café should also be on your list to enjoy while you are at Port Orleans. Staying at either of the Port Orleans resorts gives you access to both parking lots. And these little pieces of perfection are worth the stop.
I hope you are having a wonderful time at the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions, please come see us again at
planDisney.
Thinking of the Happiest Things!
