Hi...we will be staying at Port Orleans. Am interested in learning how to get groceries? The last time we were there, there was a grocery service. I read the post from 2018 regarding the Swan and that the service was not available for that hotel. Thanks

    Hi Pamela!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I had to take your question as you and my mom have the same name, so we are Disney family already! You are staying at one of the loveliest sets of Disney Resort properties! On arrival, you are immediately transported to the bayou all while being a quick stroll away from my favorite Disney dessert - the Mickey-shaped Beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.

You are so smart to be pre-planning your groceries for your upcoming trip, and you have quite a few options for grocery delivery. Amazon Prime Now is an excellent way to get groceries delivered to your resort within a few hours. Through the app, you can order from Amazon directly, Whole Foods Market, or even nearby restaurants. If you have an iPhone, you can find the Prime Now app in the App Store. If you have an Android, Google Play is the App Store’s equivalent.

Besides Prime Now, several other services will deliver directly to your Resort hotel. I have used both Garden Grocer and Prime Now multiple times, and each time has been a more than successful shop. A friend of mine virtually “shops” at Publix via  InstaCart, and swears by it for every Disney trip!

When your groceries are delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Cast Members at Bell Services will gladly hold your groceries until you are ready to pick them up. Don’t worry about items that need to be refrigerated; they have a fridge available for perishables.

Pamela, I wish you a magical trip!
