    we are staying at port orleans french quarter for halloween, i would like to know if you can use the pools at other disney hotels?

    Officially, no, you are no longer allowed to use the pools at other Disney resorts.

    The back story is that some of the more popular Deluxe resort pools (chiefly Stormalong Bay at the Yacht and Beach Clubs) were getting overrun with too many people. It is such a great complex that everyone wanted to try it out, but actual Yacht and Beach Club resort guests couldn't even get a chair by their own home resort pool. So the old policy of allowing it ended.

    Now would you have a problem if you went to another moderate or value resort? Probably not. You might not even get asked for ID at a deluxe. But officially you don't have access to them. And some, like the new pool at the Animal Kingdom Villas, is very strict and you would not stand a chance of getting in.
