    Staying at the Port Orleans- FQ Resort. We check-out on the 3rd but our flight isnt until the 4th, which we are getting a cheap motel for the night. To maximize time in the parks, will the hotel hold our luggage for the day? If not, any suggestion?

    Yes, you can leave your bags with the hotel for the day that you check out. The exception is that you cannot ask them to hold them overnight. So as long as you are coming back later in the day to pick them up, they don't care if you are going to the airport or another destination.
