Hi Melissa! Welcome back to planDisney!
Well laissez les bons temps rouler; let the good times roll! You’re staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and I can already tell your trip is going to be filled with charm, fun, and a little splash of that New Orleans magic! From the jazz music floating through the air to the cobblestone streets of
French Quarter and the lazy bayou vibes of
Riverside, you’ve picked a gem of a resort. And with EPCOT on your plans—and a stop at
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure—you’re in for a trip that’s sure to make your heart sing!
Melissa, if you’re dreaming of scurrying around with Chef Remy without a long wait, here’s my best advice. As a guest at a Disney Resort hotel, one of your
resort guest perks is that you get Early Theme Park Entry, which gives you a head start before the general crowd. So plan an extra early wake-up and make a beeline for the France Pavilion upon arrival—it’s the closest entrance to Remy’s.
And listen, If mornings aren’t your thing (zero judgment here; I am NOT a morning person), you can also snag a
Lightning Lane reservation for Remy to skip the standby line. As a Disney Resort Hotel guest, you’ll be able to pre-book your Lightning Lane passes up to 7-days in advance of your stay. And if you prefer a nighttime vibe, consider riding later in the evening—after the fireworks, the lines often settle down, making for a magical way to end your day.
Now, speaking of Port Orleans, do me a favor and don’t leave without grabbing some of those heavenly beignets at
Scat Cat’s Club. They’re powdered sugar perfection, and if you catch a little live jazz music while you’re there, well, that’s the perfect recipe for letting the good times roll. It’s like a little piece of New Orleans right in the heart of Walt Disney World.
Bon appétit and enjoy every magical moment, Melissa! Wishing you powdered sugar smiles, pixie dusted memories, and the perfect touch of Disney magic!
Au revoir, and see ya real soon! ~Emille
