When do reservations open up for 2026 bookings?

Hiya, Jess! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

It’s great that you’re starting to plan a 2026 Walt Disney World adventure. I’m right there with you. I probably have 3 years of possible vacation plans bouncing around my brain at any given moment.  When you consider all the new experiences opening at Walt Disney World in the coming years, it’s hard not to daydream about a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!

At the time I’m writing this, reservations for 2026 are not available for booking. In the past, vacation and hotel packages for the next year have become available in early to mid-summer. Last year was a little different because guests were able to begin making reservations for 2025 earlier than usual in February 2024. My best recommendation is to keep an eye on the Walt Disney World website and Disney Parks Blog for updates. They’ll be a great resource for staying up-to-date with all the news and happenings around the Disney Parks.

So you have a little more time to plan and research. If you’re traveling with a group, especially kids, I always suggest talking about your trip and sharing your “must-do” experiences. Whether it’s rides, snacks, or shows, understanding each other’s priorities ahead of time makes for a more magical visit. You can download the My Disney Experience app to look at lists of rides, shops, character experiences, and almost anything else at Walt Disney World. It’s an easy way to browse everything the resort has to offer.

Jess, I’m sure you’ll be ready as soon as the 2026 vacation packages become available. If you have any other questions before or after you book, don’t hesitate to send any queries to your pals at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    Happy planning!
