    We are staying at the POR-Riverside and will need to get to the contemp for out 7 am res. at Chef Mickeys. I am trying to change it to a later, but no luck. What will be the best way to get there so early? I want to let the kids sleep in as late as possibl

    Hi Jen! I love those 7 a.m. Chef Mickey's reservations! Not many other table-service restaurants at Disney World open that early, and I love being able to have an unhurried breakfast and then arriving at the Magic Kingdom in time for the opening ceremony! I also like being one of the first people through the buffet line!

    In addition to early breakfast reservations, I'm also a big fan of Disney transportation, but in this situation, your best bet is going to be to take a taxi from the Port Orleans to the Contemporary. The trip by car takes only 10 to 15 minutes so you can let the kids sleep a little later since you won't have to budget extra time to wait for a bus.
