Staying at POR-FQ in August, what building should we request to be close to the main pool and food court. We are staying in a standard room, what would you suggest. Thanks for the help I'm sure there are more questions to come!

    Hello Michelle!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Mom Panel.

You are going to love staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. The Doubloon Lagoon pool is a splashtastic way to spend a hot August afternoon.

The closest buildings to pool are Buildings 2 and 5. The main building which houses Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory, the Scat Cat Club, Mardi Grogs as well as the lobby and Disney Bus Transportation is located near Buildings 3 and 4.

I don't think you could go wrong staying in any of these buildings.

I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions while planning your magical Disney vacation please come back and see us.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
