We are staying at POR 12/13-12/19 with 3 small children. Should we ask for a certain building location? If so, when do we request it?

Thanks for writing Robin! We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside in March and enjoyed it thoroughly. The grounds and pool areas are so beautiful, and I absolutely loved the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Since you are travelling with three small children, you might want to request a room in the Alligator Bayou section with a trundle bed. It's a smaller-sized bed that pulls out from underneath one of the double beds, and the kids seem to love it.

If you requested a water/ pool view room and want to be close to the main pool area, bus, restaurants, gift shop etc., then request buildings 14 or 18. If you booked a standard room, then Building 15 would put you closest, or the non water view rooms in either 14 or 18. Hope this helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
