Staying at POR 5/2-5/9 planning an evening at the resort. Wanted to go to BW for dinner then Campfire on de'Bayou, movie under the stars and see Bob at RR. Anyway we can fit this all in? What days & times does each happen? What time should I make ADR?

Hi Jennifer!  Congratulations on your upcoming stay at Port Orleans--Riverside!  It's really a beautiful resort, and one that really is enjoyable in the evening.  With all the activities that you are looking to do, its gonna be one busy night!  Being that you want to dine at Boardwalk Inn, I would start the evening with that, as everything else is in close proximity at POR.

Campfire on de'Bayou should be next on your list.  It is held nightly at Ol' Man Island starting at 7:30 pm in the summer, and 6:30 pm in the spring months.  Its great to be able to sit there and toast some marshmallows or create yummy 'smores (kits sold separately) while the sun sets.

Movies Under the Stars is the newest addition to POR's evening activities.  Movies begin shortly after dusk, so times vary throughout the year, 9:30 ish in the summer, and earlier in the winter months.  Movies are shown on the courtyard at Oak Manor (building 90).  This may begin sometime at 8 during your stay, so you can enjoy this and then head to River Roost for Yehaa Bob.

Yehaa Bob has shows scheduled at POR for the week of 5/2 to 5/9 at River Roost Lounge from 8:30 pm to 11:45 pm, so this can be the finale to your evening.

So your evening will look like this:

6:00 pm Boardwalk Inn dinner ; 7:30 pm Campfire on de'Bayou

8:30 pm Movies Under the Stars ; 10:00 pm Yehaa Bob

It's quite a busy evening.  As Yehaa Bob will be at POR all week, my suggestion would be to save that show for another evening.  In that way you will be ablle to enjoy it without feeling like you are running from place to place to place.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
