Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Staying at POR May 1st - May 5th!! We like the Mansion's (over the Alligator Bayou). Which Mansion building (#) should we request? Are there any that are preferred?

    Hi Rebecca! My family loved our stay so much at Disney's Port Orleans--Riverside, that we've planned a second trip back to this beautifully landscaped resort!  We truly enjoy Ol' Man Island pool, and the great offerings at Riverside Mill are plentiful and delicious.  You will truly enjoy your time amongst the southern comfort.  When choosing a mansion in the Magnolia Bend section of the resort, I would recommend Magnolia Terrace (building 85).  It is in close proximity to the East Depot bus stop, a short walk over a bridge to Ol' Man Island and to the marina and Riverside Mill.  Another building which affords a water view and close proximity to Riverside Mill (over a bridge) is Oak Manor (building 90).  It is close to the quiet pools, and a small walk to a bus stop.  We've stayed in both, with our preference being Magnolia Terrace.  Currently, the preferred rooms at POR are located in the Alligator Bayou section. Keep in mind that the Oak Manor and Parterre Place Mansions will be the locations of the new Royal Guest Rooms and will come at a higher price point.
