Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are staying at POR in Feb. Have boys 10 & 7. Wondered if it would be worth it to spend the extra money and change our hotel to the Boardwalk Inn? It looks wonderful. We stayed at the Wilderness last year and want to try different resort.

    I love both of the resorts you are thinking about for vacation. My timeshare is at the Boardwalk, and when I can not stay there, then I head to Port Orleans Riverside.

    If you had a stroller or you needed to go back to the room daily for naps, I would say spend the extra money for the Boardwalk. However, I think your boys might enjoy the rusticness of Port Orleans if they liked Wilderness Lodge.

    The Boardwalk has a great area to stroll around at night, but Port Orleans is near Downtown Disney which you can enjoy the restaurants and DisneyQuest which is an interactive video gaming experience.
