Staying at POR with family in Aug. Have DDP and want to take boat to Downtown Disney to eat at Raglan Road Irish Pub since no park pass on arrival day.Where does the boat drop you and how late does it run on a Sunday night? Will we have a lot of walking?

Thanks for the question Kim! Going to Downtown Disney and having dinner at Raglan Road pub is our traditional first night at Disney too! We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in March, and my favourite part of that resort is the boatride to Downtown Disney. The boat lets you off at the dock near the Rainforest Cafe and Cap'n Jack's restaurant at the Marketplace. It's a lovely stroll through Downtown Disney to the West Side where Raglan Road is located. The walk is about 10-15 minutes. When we were there, the last boat typically ran at about 11 pm. Times may vary depending on the day, and the information is readily available at your hotel. The boat captains will also advise you what time the last boat sails. It's just a quick bus ride, so if you miss the boat, the buses run an hour after closing time, so you won't get stuck!

    Have a magical vacation Kim!
