Hi Michael,
Breakfast with Beach Goofy and his pals at
Cape May Cafe is so much fun! I can't think of a much better way to start your day!
To get from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's Beach Club Resort for your breakfast reservation, you have a couple options.
The quickest would be to take a taxi directly from your resort to Beach Club. In my experience, most taxi rides cost around $20 or less, not including gratuity.
Disney's free transportation is the other option. Buses to the theme parks start running an hour before park opening. It looks like Disney's Hollywood Studios most likely opens at 9:00 a.m. the day of your breakfast, which means that bus would leave Riverside around 8:00 a.m. That would give you just 45 minutes to there, which may be cutting it close, but if you opt for this route, here's what to do. Take the bus from Riverside to Disney's Hollywood Studios, then walk toward the boat launch (to the right of the gates before you enter the park). Catch the first boat heading toward Epcot. The boat will make a stop at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club along the way and you'll want to get off there. Cape May Cafe is located on the first level of Disney's Beach Club Resort. You may also want to check with the Concierge at your resort to see if an earlier "breakfast bus" might be running the morning of your reservation that would take you directly to Disney's Beach Club Resort. If so, that would be an even quicker bus option.
Give Goofy a big hug for me and have a magical vacation, Michael! Please write back if we can help answer any other questions.
