Staying at POR for our 10th anniversary and trying to decide about the dining plan. Can we split a meal off the menu at a full-service restaurant, thereby just using 1 credit? If so, can we pay OOP for a second drink?

    Hi Matt!

Congratulations on your 10th anniversary!  And what better way to celebrate than with a vacation to Walt Disney World!  There are many ways for you to commemorate your milestone during your stay, from a romantic and intimate dinner to a celebratory glass of champagne, its entirely your choice!

When booking your WDW stay, you would need to add the dining plan for both parties staying in the room.  When opting to dine at a restaurant during your stay, and using a dining plan credit, you would not be able to share the meal, as the credit is intended to be used by one person.  The only caveat to this is with a child under three, who is able to share all meals at all times.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
