Staying at Pop and spending day at boardwalk area. Also want to do Fantasia Gardens that day and have a quick service dinner (we were thinking about Pepper Market at CS?) then watch Illuminations from the boardwalk. Do-able? Transportation suggestions?

    Hi Michele,

The Boardwalk is a lovely area to spend some time, the Fantasia Gardens mini golf is just a short walk away and you could even hire a small boat or Surrey bike for some extra fun. I wouldn't advise you go and eat at Pepper Market and return to the Boardwalk though. Pepper Market is at Coronado Springs Resort and to get there from the Boardwalk, using the free Disney transport, you would need to either catch the boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then transfer to a CSR bus or catch a bus to Downtown Disney and then get a CSR bus. This could take you over an hour each way. The quick service options at the Boardwalk are quite limited, if you're on the dining plan then you can use your credits at the Boardwalk Bakery, Beach Club Marketplace and Hurricane Hannas Grill. The selection of food they offer isn't huge so a better option, if you need to use dining plan credits, is to catch a bus from one of the hotels to Downtown Disney and eat at either Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express, both of which serve lovely food and then return to the Boardwalk later. This will be much quicker than travelling to CSR. If you're not on the dining plan then a cheap alternative is to dine at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club which is on the Boardwalk, here they sell delicious burgers and fantastic desserts much cheaper than the other table service restaurants.

Getting back to Pop from the Boardwalk will again involve transfers, either via Hollywood Studios if it's still open or Downtown Disney. Taxis are available at the front of all resorts so that is always an option!

I hope I've helped with your planning and have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
