Hello Lindsey!
Early morning transportation can be a snap with little ones if you use
Disney’s Minnie Van Service. While the Minnie Van is an additional cost, and I am always on the lookout for the vacation budget, I think the convenience factor for an early morning dining reservation is worth it.
Minnie Vans can seat up to six Guests, and include two car seats so the littlest Guests can get to their destination in style and safety! Be sure to download the Lyft App in advance to make things as easy as possible on the morning of your breakfast. Open the Lyft App and choose Disney’s Minnie Van Service! I’ll also attach a handy video from my fellow Panelist Emille where she shows you how easy it is to use!
With a 9 am park opening, and the need to walk from the Magic Kingdom to
Chef Mickey's at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there may not be a bus running early enough to get you to breakfast in time. Your other timely option is to use a local taxi service. Technically, children do need to be restrained in a car seat in a taxi, but most taxis don’t come with them included. If you decide to go this option, I would call the taxi company the night before and see if they will be able to accommodate you.
I hope this helps with your planning, Lindsey. I have to say we have used Disney's Minnie Van on several occasions for early morning breakfasts, and we have loved it. For a 7 am reservation, I would be waiting and ready to order your Minnie Van right at 6:30 am when Disney's Minnie Van Service begins. Please let us know what additional questions you have, we are here to help!
