    9/19-9/28 staying at pop mom/son celebrating 30/ 50th biday! want to do trian tour on the 20th it says to arrive at MK at 7:15 am does buses run early enough there or will I have to get a cab! if so how much will that cost! This is my sons surprise gift

    Hi Denise! How wonderful that you and your son will be celebrating milestone birthdays together at Walt Disney World! Be sure to request Birthday buttons when you check in at the Pop Century, and note on your dining reservations that you're celebrating during this trip.

    What a great idea to surprise your son with Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour! The tour starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. so you'll definitely want to arrive by 7:15. On September 20, the Magic Kingdom officially opens at 9 a.m., so I would expect the buses to begin running to the park around 7 a.m. Since the bus ride takes about 20 minutes and the bus may not arrive until after 7 a.m., I think your best bet would be to take a cab to the Contemporary and then walk over to the Magic Kingdom. For a twenty minute cab ride, I'd estimate your fare to be around $20 plus tip.
