We are staying at Pop Century the week of January 26, 2026. How do we get to the Hoop-de-doo dinner show with the boat dock at the Wilderness Lodge being closed?

    Hi Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has to be one of my all-time favorite restaurants at Disney World. I’m excited you’ll be experiencing it so soon!

I’m happy to report that there will be no need to worry about Wilderness Lodge’s temporary boat dock closure in this instance because Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is located at Fort Wilderness. I know the name is similar, but they’re two separate locations!

To get from Pop Century to Fort Wilderness, I recommend taking the bus to Magic Kingdom. From there, you can hop on the boat to Fort Wilderness. Pioneer Hall (where Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue takes place) is just a short walk from the boat dock. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to make the trip, as you may need to wait for the bus and/or boat throughout your journey over there.

My family always loves to get there a bit early, grab a cocktail from Crockett’s Tavern, and let our boys play on the playground near Pioneer Hall. Then once it’s time to check in for the show, we’re right there and ready to go!

If you’re hoping for a more direct route to Fort Wilderness, you can consider booking a Minnie Van. Although this is an extra cost, it would be much faster overall since your Minnie Van could pick you up at Pop Century and take you right to Fort Wilderness without having to transfer between different types of transportation.

I hope that helps! Have the best time at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue! If you’re anything like my family, you’ll be laughing throughout the whole show. We’ll see you real soon!
