We will be staying at Pop Century on our stay in May 2010. We are celebrating my son's 8th birthday. I know from browsing the website that some really cool things are available...cakes, surprise presents...any recommendations???

Hey Adelle!  Yes there are some wonderful surprises you can order for his big 8th birthday.  First let me tell you how much I love the in room celebration with Mickey Mouse.  There is nothing quite as exciting as coming back from a fun-filled day at the parks to find that Mickey Mouse has been in your room.  From his foot prints on the floor to the celebration banner hanging on the wall and then to find a gigantic Mickey sitting on the bed!  It is so much fun!
I also love the Mickey Mouse shaped head birthday cake.  We ordered this in June for my daughter's 6th birthday and had it delivered to Chef Mickey.  Not only did she love the surprise, it was probably one of the best cakes I have ever tasted in my life.  It was awesome.
I hope these two suggestions help and that you guys have the most incredible trip this May.  Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel with your great question and Happy Birthday to your son.
