I am staying at Pop Century in May with a QS dining plan. If I use a dining credit to eat at the resort, would a 20oz bottle of soda from the cooler count for the beverage? If not, what does count, since I will already have my refillable mug? Thanks!

    Howdy, Stacie!

Welcome to planDisney! It is great to hear you are planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation for this coming May. It sounds like you have planned a practically perfect visit with a stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort and a vacation package including a dining plan.

Disney dining is one of my favorite topics and I am thrilled the dining plans have returned. I adore not having to budget our meals once I am on vacation. I also tend to try more new things when using the dining plan. As I am sure you're aware, with the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, Guests age 3 and older receive:

-2 Quick-Service Meals (per night of stay)
-1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
    -1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug

I double-checked with a Cast Member and confirmed that a bottled soda does qualify as a drink with a Quick-Service meal, where available. So yes, if you use one of your Quick-Service meals at Disney's Pop Century Resort, you are able to get a bottled beverage as your included drink. I would also inquire with a Cast Member about what other drinks are included as there is typically a variety of beverages available.

Over 100 restaurants participate in the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, so I am sure you will find plenty of locations to use your Quick-Service meals. My favorite is Satu'li Canteen in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The food is absolutely delicious and the portion size is a great value on the dining plan. I recommend the Combination Bowl and a Pandoran Sunrise.

Happy planning, Stacie! If I can help you with anything else or if you would like any other dining recommendations, please send me another question. Thank you again for stopping by!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
