Staying at Pop Century the last week of November 2018. We are not renting a car & wondering what the best options there are for leaving the resort to travel to non-Disney locations? i.e. food store, going out to eat, etc.

    Hi there, Nancy!

Visiting Walt Disney World is easy peasy without a vehicle. Thanks to complimentary resort and theme park transportation, you can get to everything on Walt Disney World property via bus, boat, or monorail from the resorts to the theme parks.

Traveling to locations outside of Walt Disney World can be a bit more challenging. The best options for leaving the resort to visit locations outside of Walt Disney World would be Lyft, Uber, or a local taxi service.

Taxis are pretty readily available at any of the Walt Disney World resorts. You just have to go to the front of the resort to locate them. If you haven't used them at home, Uber and Lyft are available via an app on your Smart Phone. You just go to the app, let them know you need transportation, and it arrives (at least in my experience) within 15 - 30 minutes.

Did you know you can use the Amazon Prime Pantry to deliver some non-perishable groceries to your resort? This works great for quick breakfast items, snack foods, and drinks. There are also grocery delivery services in the area of the Walt Disney World resorts.

Have so much fun planning, Nancy!
