Hi Gina,
Welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few sleeps away, so I'm glad you stopped by with your question today.
One of the advantages of staying at the
Pop Century Resort -- which is so fun, by the way -- is the easy access to the
Skyliner. The Skyliner station is located on the bridge that connects Pop Century with the Art of Animation Resort. You'll be able to walk there from any room in the resort in 10 minutes or less.
From that Skyliner station, you will fly over Hourglass Lake to the Caribbean Beach Resort, a quick ride of about 5 minutes, where you will transfer to the Skyliner line to
Epcot. You also can transfer to a Skyliner bound for
Hollywood Studios here.
The flights from Caribbean Beach to Epcot take about 15 minutes or so. Note that you will go through the station at the Riviera Resort, but don't get off the Skyliner there.
You will arrive near the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. (Once you are inside the entrance, be on the lookout for character photo ops along the walkway that leads up to the World Showcase.)
The whole trip should take about 30 minutes, though I like to allow a little extra time in case there's a line to board the Skyliner either at Pop Century or at Caribbean Beach. The cars load continuously, so the lines usually move pretty fast, but it can take a bit first thing in the morning or at the end of the day as lots of guests from your resort head to and from the parks.
I stayed at Pop Century in June and never waited more than a minute at either station, though we tend to sleep in and miss the morning rush.
Thanks for your question, Gina. Wishing you a magical stay at Pop Century and a Walt Disney World vacation filled with core memories!
Wilma
