Staying at Pop Century, doing a RunDisney event next spring. What's the most convenient way to get from Pop Century to ESPN Wide World of Sports so that we can pick up our race packets the morning before racing? We will not have a car with us. Thanks!

    Hi Mary!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney's Pop Century Resort is such a fun resort and I'll think you'll have a great time during your stay!

Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, all race transportation is provided for you to and from ESPN Wide World of Sports and to each race. When you check in, just ask the friendly Cast Member assisting you where runDisneytransportation will pick up from. You'll want to check the times for the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo to pick up your bib the day before your race. If you cannot make it to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo the day before your race and you have to pick it up the morning of, you will pick it up near the race start. I would ensure that you are on the very first bus that leaves your resort to give you plenty of time when you get to the start. The time that the first bus will pick up will be posted in the Official Event Guide a few weeks before your race.

To pick up the morning of, you will need to have your race waiver printed out, signed and a photo ID with you. If you do this and are running the 5K or 10K, you'll want to visit the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo after your race to pick up your shirt. If you pick up your bib the morning of the half marathon, your race shirt will be mailed to you approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the race.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
