HI moms! We are staying at POP, I assume there are in room safes? We would like to bring our laptop, does anyone know if these safes are large enough to fit a laptop? Thanks moms!

Hi, Janelle! I stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort in March and brought along my laptop so I could complete some work. Not sure what I was thinking - why would I want to think about work while on vacation? Oh well, sometimes we just have to do what we have to do, especially if it means I get to take another ride through the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with my girls.

All of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels are equipped with in-room wall safes, which are either accessed via key or combination and vary in size. The ones at your Resort are usually 7" x 10" by 2", which does limit what can be stored. While at Disney's Pop Century Resort, I was not successful in storing my laptop in the safe, which is a Toshiba of standard size. If you have a thinner device, such as an iPad, you would have better luck fitting it in the safe. During that trip, I just locked my laptop inside my suitcase while we were out enjoying our day.

I have often left valuables out in my room and have never experienced any issues. However, know that the Front Desk at your Resort does have a large safe in which you should be able to keep your valuables if you so desire. Just see a Cast Member at the Front Desk for more information on how you can utilize their safe.

I hope you have a magical day, Janelle! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
