We will be staying at the Polynesian Villiage bungalow at the the end of the month. I have had a severe back injury & sleeping in a bed is very painful. Do you know if there is a reclining chair in the bungalow?

    Hi Jennifer!

You must be very excited about your upcoming visit to Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows! Two words come to mind immediately when I think about my time in the spectacular Bungalows: Plunge Pool. There is just nothing like watching Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from your own private pool overlooking Disney's Seven Seas Lagoon!

I'm sorry to tell you that Disney Vacation Club Villas do not offer reclining chairs and this particular DVC Resort does not have a lounger in the living room. Instead, it does have a very comfortable sleeper sofa and two low-back chairs. For naps or even an evening under the stars, your expansive private deck will provide two reclining loungers with very comfortable padding as well as two hammock chairs just beyond the Master Bedroom back door.

For an entirely different exotic experience, consider a Savanna View 2-Bedroom Villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. This would provide a stunning view of beautiful wildlife just beyond your balcony and would provide a rather large pull-out chair in the living room that might make crashing after an exciting day in the theme parks more comfortable. You can also find a similar chair in the 1-Bedroom and larger Villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa also has a slightly less padded chair with ottoman that could be used in a pinch.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions, Jennifer! See ya real soon!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
