Welcome back, James!
The Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue is one of my family's favorite dinner shows at the Walt Disney World Resort. Not only does the audience get to enjoy some down home cookin' while clapping along to the songs, but some guests are even invited into the act itself! The last time we attended the show, I was pulled up on stage to participate. I won't tell you who I got to play, as I don't want to ruin the surprises, but let's just say I was dressed in a fancy costume from head to toe right over my own clothes and my family was roaring in laughter! It was a lot of fun. I do hope that someone in your party gets invited to participate too because it makes for some really fun memories!
It's super easy to make your way from
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. Simply board the
water taxi outside the Polynesian and take it to
Magic Kingdom, just across Seven Seas Lagoon. There you'll disembark and board a different boat that is headed to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (not Wilderness Lodge). As you arrive, you'll find yourself just a short stroll from Pioneer Hall, home to the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. Be sure to leave plenty of time to travel and plan to arrive early just in case you get to Magic Kingdom's boat ramp only to find you just missed the boat to Fort Wilderness. Leaving that extra time ensures you'll have a relaxing ride to dinner and some time to enjoy the surroundings before your reservation begins, even if your boats are delayed.
Have fun attending the Hoop-De-Doo show, James!
