We will be staying at the Polynesian Resort and plan on dining in our room one afternoon. Do we tell the hotel now or do we wait until the day of? How much do we tip for the service? Thank you

Hi, Jill! The Polynesian is my family's absolute favorite Walt Disney World Resort.  Room service is a great way to take a mid-afternoon break.  You simply place your Room Service order when you are almost ready to eat.  It's like placing an order in a restaurant, but instead of being delivered to your table it is delivered to your room. They would only need to know in advance if there was a special dietary need.  In our past experiences, the gratuity has already been added to the bill.  It usually notes the percentage at the bottom of the room service menu.  Make sure to check your receipt so you don't you double tip. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
