Staying at the Polynesian Resort club level and will be there for New Year's Eve. Are there any special offerings specifically in the lounge for club guests? Trying to decide on the parks for the countdown or watch fireworks from there. Thank you

    chEARs Frank!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't believe it is already time to plan to ring in a new decade. Honestly, I can't think of a better place to do it than with a Club Level stay at a monorail Resort!

The Big Boss (i.e., Mickey Mouse) has given us quite a few options for celebrating across the 'World. Feliz Ano Nuevo: A New Year's Eve Party will be held at the new rooftop restaurant at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. An Italian Masquerade will be the highlight of celebrations at the brand-new Disney's Riviera Resort, and a quick monorail stop away from you will be all of the spectacular celebrations at Disney's Contemporary Resort. These soirees including an elegant Countdown to Midnight, and a super fun Pixar Party for the littles!

So far, we don't know what the exclusive Club Level lounges will be doing. But rest assured, Disney Parks Blog will be the first place for all the 'deets. In the past, the Club Level lounges have hosted the equivalent of a VIP party! Themed decorations, fantastic desserts, and bubbly abound! We recently stayed Club Level at Disney's Contemporary Resort over the 4th of July and had a fantastic time celebrating with our fellow Guests at an Americana-themed party. I have a feeling that the King Kamehameha Club is planning something similar.

If you want to experience the fireworks outside, I would grab drinks and dessert and head to the beaches of the Resort. You will have a front-row view of Fantasy in the Sky at Magic Kingdom Park! Since Resorts have a lower capacity than the Parks, you will have a more intimate party than if you celebrate inside. But, there is something extraordinary about New Year's Eve with thousands of your "friends" inside Magic Kingdom Park!

Frank, I wish you much joy as you ring in 2020!
