We are staying at the Polynesian Resort on August 22nd - 30th. We have reservations at the Boma restaurant. How long will it take to get there and what is the best way to go using Disney Transporation? Thank you for your help.

Hi Cheri! The tropical-themed Polynesian Resort is so enchanting, and it's also conveniently located close to the Magic Kingdom, which makes traveling around Walt Disney World super easy since you can catch buses from there to the other resort hotels. Just hop on the monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom, and then head over to the bus stops in front of the park. There you'll find a bus heading directly to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where the yummy Boma buffet is located. Since you may have to wait a few minutes for the bus, boat or monorail to arrive, give yourself 45 minutes to make the trip. (If you're in a hurry, you can take a taxi from the Polynesian to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and be there in about 20 minutes.) Be sure to walk out to the savanna viewing area before or after dinner to see the animals -- night vision goggles are even available if it's dark!

Have a magical vacation! If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to ask us here at the Moms Panel! We're happy to help!
