We are staying at the Polynesian in Nov. I need to know if there are elevators between the floors. Any other recommendations or tips about the resort? Stayed at AS Movies and Caribbean Beach in the past. Looking forward to a stay at the Poly!

    Emily,

Yes, there are elevators inside of each Longhouse, including the Great Ceremonial Lodge (main lobby building). Typically you will find them at the ends of the longhouses, so just as you enter. They are a bit on the smaller size in the older buildings, but they were large enough for us to get a side-by-side stroller in without breaking it down, so you should find it adequate to most needs.

I love the Polynesian. If there is anything that you would like to ask, please don't hesitate to send me another question. For now let me tease you with one new tidbit. Just 2 years ago they added private cabanas by the main pool. These are great ways on pool days to get a bit of seclusion and privacy at an otherwise busy and crowded pool. The price is also a LOT more affordable than I had expected. Typically I never consider such a luxury when at a beach resort hotel, because you are talking about over $300, at least. But we love them at Disney, because they are WAY more affordable, the personal attention makes for a wonderfully pampered day, and having your own space is really great.

    Have a magical vacation!
