    Hello! We r staying at Polynesian in may. Where is the ideal place to request? Have a garden view room. Would like to be close to everything. Thanks so much!

    Hi, Danelle!  If you want the closest longhouse to both transportation and the Great Ceremonial House, I'd recommend requesting Raratonga.  You walk out one end and you are literally right there at the Great Ceremonial House, where you'll find shopping, restaurants, the front desk, etc.  When you walk out of the building the other way, you're just a minute or two walk to transportation.  You also have quick access to the quiet pool, laundry facilities and the arcade.

    Another great longhouse that is pretty well centrally located is Tokelau.  From here, it's just a short walk to everything, but the rooms here all have balconies, which they do not in Raratonga.  (first floor have patios)

    Keep in mind that a request cannot be guaranteed, but I know they do take every request into consideration, and they do their best to honor them when they can.

    Have a great vacation!  The Polynesian is a wonderful resort!
