we are staying at the Polynesian in March while they are doing construction and working on the monorail. Will we still be able to walk to the ticket and transportation center to catch the monorail to Epcot or do we have to get on a bus?

    Aloha Jane!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

You are absolutely going to love staying at Disney's Polynesian Resort. It is my favorite resort at Walt Disney World. Not only does it offer a serene South Seas theme and great views of the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, in my opinion it offers the best transportation options at Walt Disney World.

Given the Polynesian's promixity to the Ticket & Transportation Center (TTC), you can easily take a quick stroll to the TTC to catch the Monorail to Epcot. I have also found if you are staying in one of the buildings closer to the TTC, such as Tahiti and Rapa Nui, and would like to go to the Magic Kingdom, it is actually quicker to walk to the TTC and take the ferry boat as opposed to taking a launch from the Polynesian dock.

I hope this helps you plan your magical Disney vacation. If you have any other question please come back and see us.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
