Staying at the Polynesian in late January with Husband, Daughter, Son-in-law & Grandkids ages just 4 & almost 2. Which building do you recommend for convenience & ammenities? Thanks,

    Aloha Helene!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  My family just returned from a relaxing stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! Your family is going to love the tropical theming, spacious guest rooms, and fun recreational activities that await at Disney's Polynesian Resort!

I would personally recommend requesting either Rarotonga or Samoa, which are both located close to the Great Ceremonial House, the Nanea Volcano Pool, and the quiet pool. You will find the table-service restaurants, Capt. Cook's, gift shops, the resort monorail station, and the lobby in the Great Ceremonial House. There are also several other longhouses (buildings) that are centrally located, but the two that I mentioned would be my top picks. Please know that room requests are accepted, but are not guaranteed. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if you have any additional questions regarding Disney's Polynesian Resort or your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Best wishes for a magical trip, Helene!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
