I am staying at Polynesian. I am a golfer but do not have a tee time. I'd like to check out the Magnolia golf course pro shop that's right nearby. Can I walk there from the Polynesian currently? If not, how should I go about making the short trip?

Let's tee it up, Chad! Thanks for cruising your golf cart by planDisney today. My husband loves golfing at the Walt Disney World Golf Courses, so I'd love to help you explore transportation options for your visit.

I have my first-ever stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort coming up in a few days, so I've been practicing my "Alohas!" I've gotten a few emails recently about new traffic patterns due to nearby construction. I bet you've seen those same notices! Because of the constantly changing road and lane closures, I recommend asking the Front Desk at check-in for the currently recommended route to Disney's Magnolia Golf Course.

I chatted with a plus-four-wearing Cast Member who said complimentary taxis are often available, so be sure to ask the valet or concierge if those are running. She added that, due to construction, walking probably won't be allowed during your visit, so the shuttle would be a fantastic alternative. You can also opt for using a rideshare service of your choice. While that won't be free, it's typically the quickest way to travel around Walt Disney World Resort.

The pro shop is definitely above par. A friend recently asked me to pop by and pick up a tee bag with Chip 'N' Dale on it, so I innocently strolled into the shop. Little did I know I'd end up buying a tee bag for myself and a hat for my husband. I wanted to buy all the things! My tip is to ask about any sales running while you're there; they sometimes offer discounts when you buy more than one item, which was NOT a problem for me!

Chad, here's hoping your upcoming vacation stays in the fairway. I'm not saying you should book a tee time, but the course does have clubs available for rent! Please stop by planDisney anytime for tips on your next visit. Fore!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
