Hi Melissa,
You are going to love The Polynesian for your upcoming vacation!
Not only is the resort beautiful, but the food is phenomenal!
You've got to try the Tonga Toast, which they serve at
Disney's Kona Cafe. This delicious dish is cinnamon and banana stuffed French Toast. Yum!
'Ohana is also a wonderful dining location at The Polynesian. My kids are also picky eaters, but they loved 'Ohana. From the bread, to delicious meats to the bread pudding dessert, it is our favorite place to eat.
In regards to Mediterranean food, there is a Fresh Mediterranean Market at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort. They serve dishes from Spain, Italy, France, Greece and Morocco.
You will also want to eat at the Tangierine Cafe at
Epcot, as they have fresh Mediterranean food, including couscous, lamb and salads.
The kids will love Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table. All of the Walt Disney World restaurants have children's menus that offer a selection of foods that are friendly for a child's palate and picky eaters. The all-you-care-to-eat locations also offer a variety of healthy foods, like fresh fruit, salads, grilled chicken and fish.
You can enjoy any of those locations for dinner or lunch, just make sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE. The lunch options at the parks are endless, from the delicious Pecos Bills at Magic Kingdom to Pizza Planet at Hollywood Studios, there are plenty of quick-service and table-service options.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!
Magically,
Stacy
