We will be staying at the Polynesian Deluxe Villas (DVC room) soon. We are not DVC members. Will we have housekeeping services come in each day to empty the trash, replace towels, etc? I read that DVC members only receive housekeeping every 3 days.

Hi there, Darlene! Disney's Polynesian Village & Bungalows are absolutely gorgeous. My family and I have stayed several times, and each time find a new way to enjoy this tropical paradise.

Your question can be answered a couple of ways, and in the words of two of my favorites from Alice in Wonderland, "If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic." If Tweedledum and Tweedledee aren't enough to confuse you, I'm going to give it a go.

You are not a Disney Vacation Club member, but are you staying using a DVC member's points? If you are, your reservation is treated exactly the same as if you were a DVC member. You will have daily trash removal from your villa, and on the fourth day, you'll have bed linens and towels replaced. If you are not staying using Disney Vacation Club points, but are instead staying as a regular paying guest of the hotel (the same as any other hotel guests), you are indeed entitled to daily housekeeping services. This will include fresh towels, replenishing of your toiletries, and a general cleaning and dusting.

Did you know that even if you are staying on DVC points, you can still purchase a Disney Dining Plan? It's a great way to budget for food during your stay, and you can use it to order the Polynesian Twilight Feast from in-room dining. It's like 'Ohana comes to you, and is a definite perk to staying at this resort.

    Have a wonderful time, Darlene!
