Hiya, Kathryn, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy, it sounds like you are already in the middle of your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I hope you are having a swell time so far and would be happy to help with your question today. I am so excited for you to experience breakfast with the very best Hundred Acre Wood pals at
The Crystal Palace during your trip, Kathryn! This is hands-down my favorite
Character Dining experience on property, so I hope you love it as much as I do.
The fastest route to
Magic Kingdom Park from
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is via the
Resort Monorail. This is the method of transportation my husband and I used when we stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in December, and we were typically at Magic Kingdom Park’s entrance within 15 minutes or less. Now, I cannot guarantee that will be your experience, as any number of factors can affect travel time, but the monorail should get you there in a jiffy.
The Resort Monorail begins operating 30 minutes prior to Magic Kingdom Park’s opening time and takes into account the timing of
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. In other words, if Early Entry begins at 8:30 a.m., then the monorail will start operations around 8:00 a.m. To get to your dining reservation on time, you should be ready and waiting for the monorail upstairs in the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at 7:40 a.m. at the latest. Since mornings are the busiest time with Guests trying to get to Magic Kingdom Park for Early Entry, this assures that you will be one of the first Guests to board the monorail once it arrives at your Resort. Be on the lookout once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park for the Cast Member who is checking in Guests for dining reservations. The nice thing about The Crystal Palace is that it’s at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. right past Casey’s Corner, so you won’t have to walk too far once you get there.
If this timing feels a little too close for comfort, Kathryn, remember you can request a
Minnie Van via the Lyft app. Minnie Van drivers drop you off right outside the Magic Kingdom Park entrance, so you wouldn’t have to fight the crowds at the monorail.
I hope this information proves useful, Kathryn. Enjoy the rest of your magical vacation!
