Welcome to planDisney, Emily!
You've come to the most magical place on the internet with your question, and I am happy to help!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will be a magical home away from home. You can't beat the Monorail transportation to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, newly refurbished rooms (that
Moana theming is magical!), and numerous dining opportunities here. As a
Disney Resort Guest in 2025, plan to add a visit to one of
Disney's Water Parks on your check-in day because this perk is included in your stay! You can also enjoy
Early Theme Park Entry and, as a Deluxe Resort guest,
Extended Evening Hours on select nights!
You can begin making advanced dining reservations
60 days before your arrival, so sometime in mid-February. For
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, you can begin making those seven days before your arrival. I recommend taking a look at the Walt Disney World Resort website to view restaurant menus. Since you are staying at the Polynesian, I recommend breakfast at 'Ohana and at Kona Café. When you book your Lightning Lanes, I recommend booking your Single Passes first. These will be for attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. What I love about the new Lightning Lane system is that the app gives you windows of available times, and if you have Park Hopper tickets, you can begin booking Lightning Lanes for your next park as soon as you redeem your first one.
Emily, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you for visiting planDisney, and stop by again if you need additional pixie dust. We are always happy to help!
Choose Magic!
