Staying at POFQ. Have tickets to Keys to the Kingdom tour at 8:15 on 2/21. Will we be able to take the bus to Magic Kingdom?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kay! My older daughter and I just returned from a stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. It is such a quaint resort and we loved having the Sassagoula River Cruise service to hop over to Disney Springs each day. Be sure to hop aboard while you are there and enjoy the scenic adventure.

You will definitely be able to utilize Disney Transportation buses to make your Keys to the Kingdom tour. The buses to the theme parks do not begin regular operation until around 45 minutes to an hour before park opening, but Disney does understand that many Guests require transportation earlier than this. My experience is that buses generally start picking up Guests from the Resorts as early as 7:00 a.m.or even earlier for those with pre-park opening reservations. You will find digital signs at the resort's bus stop that will indicate when the next bus to Magic Kingdom Park is expected to arrive.

I do have another fun option for you, one that I have used numerous times over the past few months. You can use the Lyft rideshare app to call for a Minnie Van, the most magical way I know to arrive at your destination! The best part of this is that the Minnie Vans are able to drop guests off at the theme park bus circles, helping you get to your magical day much faster. My daughter and I used the Minnie Vans from your resort several times and I have to say it was worth it to have that easy trip to the theme parks each early morning!

I hope you enjoy your Keys to the Kingdom tour, Kay. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
